December 13th is National Day of the Horse!
December 13th is National Day of the Horse, and Jaguar Animal Health salutes the horse and their amazing colors. There is chestnut, of course, palamino and grey. There is buckskin and roan, appaloosa and bay. They can be dun or pinto, agouti or black. Chestnuts are found in blond, sorrel or liver, and roans come in strawberry, blue or red. A dun can be a red, bay or blue; a blue dun may be called a grulla/grullo, and a bay dun is also known as a zebra dun. Seal brown horses are almost black, and a truly black horse is quite rare. Which one is your favorite? #NationalDayoftheHorse
